The BMW 3 Series Convertible features a first for the brand: a folding hardtop. As with other 3 Series models, a recently updated six-cylinder engine means altered names: The models are the BMW 328i Convertible and the turbocharged 335i Convertible. All-wheel drive, which is offered on coupe, sedan and wagon 3 Series models, is not offered on the convertible. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, with a six-speed automatic gearbox also available.
